Here is a video which helps understand the Zone Format. Note Duncan & Sebastian are fighting it out in the Zone 2011 final! The 2 pilots made it through a group stage, final 16, quarter final and semi final to then face eachother in the final.They were judged by 5 different individual judges who were:

Judge 2: Variety
Judge 3: Innovation
Judge 4: Excitement and Crowd Appeal (E&C)
Judge 5: Precision
