The stock dampeners, as we all know do not last more for a few flights, and that is why the Trueblood V2 dampeners were made. They held up better than the stock ones, but still did not last that long or make the head that tight. Well Trueblood also makes dampeners for the V1 head, which has a 3 mm spindle. The v2 head has a 4mm spindle and the same size center hub. This is why you can’t get the head as tight as the v1. So here’s what you have to do. Get the V1 Truebloods and install them on your V2 spindle. It will take some time and effort because they are a whole millimeter smaller than the spindle. I found the best method is to put some spit on them and push as hard as you can. DO NOT USE ANY SILICONE BASED LUBRICANTS! They can break down the dampeners. After you get one dampener on the spindle, screw on one blade grip. Now comes the hard part. Since the dampeners are a lot thicker, you are gonna have a hard time getting them into the head. With one blade grip and dampener on, use your allen wrench to push it into the hub. You may need to use an xacto, spit, and pliers to get the first one in. Once you have it all the way through, push the second one in with the xacto and pliers and finish rebuilding the head as you normally would. Anyway, I have found that doing this was the best investment I have ever made into my 450. The cyclic and collective response has tightened up immensely. However, I would not recommend this upgrade to anyone who is still hovering in normal mode because I noticed at lower headspeeds the heli developed a slight wobble.

Or you can just use tygon fuel tubing, or regular fuel tubing ;).
