MicroHeli has decided to place their bid in the 250 size helicopter battle with the Vortext 200 Pro. The kit is fully equipped ball raced, carbon fiber, Delrin and aluminum CNC quality parts.

In typical Align fashion, release a helicopter, then later release another version with different colors.  Well the latest heli to get this treatment is the Align T-Rex 250 “SE” edition.  Instead of different anodize colors on the aluminum parts, Align is now offering silver finish.

Had the pleasure of going to the Whittier Narrows mini funfly last Sunday. It was a wonderful day for flying; no wind and a bright 80 degrees. Hopefully all you east coasters dont mind our warm temperatures. At least I got some great photo’s so you can pretend you were there.

Align will be releasing the RRP for the T-rex 250 next week. There will be two available deal-Kit and combo. The combo package will come with 3x cyclic servos(DS410) and 1x rudder servo(DS420). Both packages will come with motor and ESC. The DS410 are rated at 0.07s @6v while the DS 420 is rated at 0.05s @6v, [...]

This thing is getting close and close to test flights…at the rate Align is going, there might be a chance of seeing this in hobby shops before Christmas, of course, that is just my speculation. Size comparsion of the rotor head and tail rotor and boom with the 700N swashplate.

Yes, photos of the real thing, not some autocad or 3d software rendering…which means…THIS THING IS FOR REAL!!! It is really tiny. Comparison with the 450 canopy. Really small.
