I just, myself, switched to an 8v setup on my Aling T-Rex 700 and I must say there is a world of difference from 5v and 6v systems.  I am running direct from my lipo using the Arizona Fromenco Kiwi.  Surprisingly I AM NOT using 8717’s but I am using Futaba 9452s with NO PROBLEMS.  [...]
