First shown in pictures from our 3DMasters coverage in Spain was the fact Align has been working on a new version T-Rex 700 Nitro.  Dubbed the Limited Edition,  the main different between the original 700 release is, with the exception of the tail case, all of the aluminum pieces are silver anodize instead of black.  [...]

Team Castle Creations Tim Jones showed up to IRCHA with a brand new home brew Align T-Rex 700 electric conversion him and his dad built.

This helicopter also features some new products from Castle Creations including their new 700 class brushless motor and HV-160 brushless speed controller.

Alan Szabo Jr. showed up at 3D Masters with some new bling for his Align T-Rex 700.  Traditionally Align aluminum parts have been anodized black, blue, or green.  We now they are going to release all the alum parts for the 700 in a nature aluminum silver color.  More pictures inside.

Since the release of the Align Trex 700N kit there have been wide spread complaints about stripped gears. Align released a revised main gear but that still hasn’t completely solved the issue. MicroHeli has listened to the public and recognized a demand for larger MOD 1.0 gears for the Trex 700N.
