Announced today on Align’s web site are two scale canopy designs for the Trex 250 electric heli.  The first is the very popular Huges 500E, and the second is a F3C “super gracy” style canopy.  Of each style canopy Align is offering two color combos to pick from.

Align has released metal tail rotor control arms for the Trex 250-600! This will eliminate the flexing under extreme forces unlike it’s plastic counterpart. This will be a must have for all of you Trex 250 owners dealing with the dreaded tail wag issue.
These should hit the stores soon so keep an eye out!

The guys over at the German heli shop Freakware.de did some great research on the minor tail oscillations that some reported on the new T-Rex 250.

These oscillations (which can also be observed on some of the online videos) can not be resolved by:

a different gyro
shortening the blades
different mounting points of the gyro
adding weights to the [...]

Although some thought that such a tiny bird will not really a big hit on the market – it actually is! Over here in ol’ Europe, some shops (and lucky ones) received the first combo kits. UK-based Heli Guy was proud to report that they have the Combos (the kit plus the servos) in stock.

Align will be releasing the RRP for the T-rex 250 next week. There will be two available deal-Kit and combo. The combo package will come with 3x cyclic servos(DS410) and 1x rudder servo(DS420). Both packages will come with motor and ESC. The DS410 are rated at 0.07s @6v while the DS 420 is rated at 0.05s @6v, [...]
