I'm pretty sure all this proves is that JR servos turn off at 3.1v
Look closely. The Futaba Green light is still on when the servos stop…

Yes, I agree. I have a Futaba 8fg with R6008hs in hs mode. If you turn off the recevier switch and then on it works very very fast, more faster than spektrum on that video.

If they used a Futaba HS rx the recovery speeds would be more equal and maybe better on Futaba.

Spectrum receiver used is approx. the same age as Futaba receiver. I think it's fair. What I'd like to see next is a distance test between Spectrum and Futaba.

I have to wonder why Spektrum chose to use a Futaba receiver that was discontinued more than a year ago?
