These side profile pics show a massive main gear and a large battery area to accommodate a 12S setup. How about the stylish X7 metal plate.
Looks like the X7 will use 120 degree CCPM with the aileron servos mounted to match the 120 degree swash. Closer look at the pic reveals a mounting point on the left side frame for the Scorpion 120A Commander ESC.
The X7 looks to use a removeable battery tray, allowing for the pilot to quickly change batteries and to get back out to the flight line for another awesome 3D flight.
X7 FBL head with a streamlined main rotor center hub and guide system for the main blade teflon links.
This prototype is installed with the Scorpion HK-5020-450kv motor. Very nice.
How about this closer look at the massive CNC main gear.
Nice close up of the all metal tail case with metal tail pitch slider. Although, the prototype looks to be using a plastic tail grips, I am left to wonder if the final production model will incorporate metal tail grips. Only time will tell.
Now RC Mania reports the X7 has electronics mounting plates, one on top of the frames and one lower within the frames. Allow multiple mounting variations depending on pilot choices of FBL control unit or receiver. This is a close up of the lower plate with BeastX Micro Beast.
Another mounting plate is shown here with a 2200 mAh 20C receiver lipo, but depending on pilot choices, this front mounting plate can be used for the ESC or receiver as well.
The X7 looks to incorporate landing gear side plates. Essentially, giving the pilot sacrifitial parts in the unlikely event of a hard crash on the landing gear.
These pics show a sweet X7 heli. As mentioned before, the final production model will probably look different from this prototype.

Worst ESC Placement ever, that is hideous
. Too bad it looks nice otherwise.
