As you can see the 500X is a bit larger than its 330X sibling.
Under the nice gray cover the GU-344 and what looks to be a Futaba receiver are housed.
Here you can see the comparison of the 330X (Scorpion 2208/1050kv) and the 500X (Scorpion 2212/960kv), larger wheel base, a larger motor and bigger ESC.
Another feature the 500X boasts is a motor housing essentially offering better protection of the motor from the elements. The cover also offers holes to allow for the pilot to add-on options.
On the underside of the motor housing there is a removable cover which can be replaced with an optional transparent cover with LED light.
The 500X can be fitted with the 330X camera mount and using standoffs to accommodate the payload. The 500X can also be fitted with a forward looking camera through cutouts for first person views.
Another optional accessory available is the CF protection frame.
RC Mania reports as of right now there is no release date provided. But with the many features and option incorporated in the 500X, this should be a welcome addition to the Gaui line of products.
