SJGD has been in the gyro business for quite a while now. They have become more popular in recent months, and customer reports seem to be pretty positive of their products. They have just released their new Mini One micro gyro, and from the specs it looks to be a good little unit for the cost. Here is the press release from Heli Flight Center with more details and a pic:
SJGD is pleased to release the new Mini One gyro. The Mini One gyro is based on a premium MEMS sensor and is diminutive in size but not in performance. It is suitable for the most extreme 3D as well as sport and scale flight styles. The tail authority of the Mini One is astounding and pirouette rates are smooth and consistent. It can be used on anything from agile 200 class copters to heart pounding 90 class nitro copters. The Mini One is a truly versatile world class gyro at an affordable price. It sets a new benchmark for performance versus price.
The Mini One features:
- Superior MEMS sensor technology.
- Powerful microcontroller allowing fast execution of advanced algorithms
- Consistent pirouette rates independent of the helicopter’s rotor head speed, rotor disc loading, flight speed, wind, etc.
- Rock solid tail holding capability
- Small and lightweight
- Designed to be applicable to all helicopters, from mini electrics to 90 nitros.
- Supports all types of digital servos from advanced digital servos to analog servos.
- Offers 71Hz, 250Hz, 333Hz and ultra-high 560Hz servo frame rates.
- All setup parameters can be set by the LCD programmer. No computer required.
- Heading Hold and Rate modes
- Compatible with high voltage/high speed servos
