Test Heli:
Align T-Rex 450 Pro Super Combo
[SinglePic not found]Benchmark Blades:
Align 325D Carbon Fiber Blades (stock on 450 Pro)
Quality:9
[SinglePic not found]When looking at the blades I was unable to find any cosmetic flaws whatsoever. The result is a very clean and well made blade. The paint edge on the white tips is sharp and the carbon fiber weave was perfect throughout. The blade roots fit perfect in the 450 blade grips and included brass inserts for safety.
[SinglePic not found]I weighed each blade on a .01 gram scale and found that each blade was identical in weight. That’s pretty impressive and not what I’ve found when weighing other blades on the market. The reason why this is important is it will cut down on vibrations and tracking issues in flight.
Performance: 9
[SinglePic not found]In flight I really liked these blades as they fit my flying style. I found they had almost as much pop and cyclic speed as the stock Align 325D blades, but with more stability. Once I weighed the blades I found out where that extra stability came from and it was more weight. The Align 325D blades weighed in at 19.09g, while the Thunder Power RC 325 blades weighed slightly more at 21.40g. A little over 2 grams does not sound like a lot, but when talking about blades on a 450 the difference is very noticeable.
Tracking was dead on right out of the box, which means they are not only perfectly matched in weight, but also blade CG.
I found the Thunder Power blades did not seem as power hungry as the Aligns, however motor temps back to back were very similar. On one of the test flights I recorded the amp draw with a Eagle Tree Data Recorder.

Value:10
[SinglePic not found]While the Thunder Power blades are more expensive then the stock replacements ($32.99), at $39.99 they are one of the cheapest aftermarket 325 blade options. This combined with the excellent performance makes them my pick for best bang for the buck in the 325 blade category!
