For those of you with Spektrum AR7100R receivers, or maybe using the Spektrum sensor with another brand Governor (i.e. ATG, MultiGov Pro, etc) then you know the one limitation. The included plastic sensor bracket from Spektrum is notorious for cracking and breaking when tightening down the motor back plate screws.

Why Spektrum chose to use plastic here is a mystery, but fortunately there is another option. A company called AlumaFX released a CNC machined aluminum sensor bracket that replaces the stock plastic one. The brackets are anodized in your choice of blue, black, purple, red, and silver (as shown here).

One nice feature of the AlumaFX bracket is the open face design where the sensor mounts. With the stock Spektrum bracket you have to feed the servo lead through the bracket when installing and removing the sensor from the bracket.

The fit and finish is excellent, the anodizing is a nice touch and will ensure the bracket outlasts you, your heli, and you Spektrum sensor.
You can find these in stock at Ron’s Heli Proz South.
