We hear so much today about electronics and helicopters that it seems at if the engine technology is falling way behind everything else. Look at the strides being made in the electric arena with battery, esc, and electric brushless technology. We have barely heard a peep out of of engine manufacturers in the way of huge engine technology advancements.
Seems that Novarossi (in cooperation with ElyQ and Avant) has stepped up to the plate to put out two new motors, a .57 and a .91 which hopefully will put some heat on OS and YS to come up with some technological breakthroughs in nitromethane motor technology.

Based on those stats look like theirs is a hair lighter, and has a slightly higher horsepower rating that the newest OS 91RZ-H or .91 SZ-H PH-Hyper with Pump.
Today ElyQ announced that they will be testing the new .50 size engine (.57 ringed - power 2.3 HP) developed by Novarossi made in joint venture with ElyQ and in exclusivity for them. Marcus Kim is actually in Italy to check its performances.
