Well you know we upgraded our WEB server but neglected to upgrade our DNS server. There have been some reports of outages worldwide due to the fact that our DNS server has been overloaded with request for the IP address of the website.
This morning the DNS server was upgraded to a Enterprise Class level and hopefully this will be the end of the dilema and our traffic numbers will return to normal.

A flying buddy of mine recently converted his RJX X-treme 50 to flybarless with the Skookum Robotics SK-360 “Digital Flybar”. After seeing the maiden of his X-50, I got interested and started reading up…Along the way, I found this article of converting a Align 700N head to flybarless. What got my attention was that this method of conversion allows the user to switch back to a mechanical flybar quick, without costing anything.
I found this how to, by Brain James, on heliproz’s website, and thought it was a great article, and would like to post it for everyone to read about.
Powering the receiver, servos, and gyro can be accomplished a couple different ways. The most common way traditionally was to use a NiCad or NiMh 4.8v battery. It is simple, easy to install and the least expensive route you can choose. Recently the use of a lithium regulated system has become popular. Typically a 2 cell lithium polymer or lithium ion battery rated at 7.4v or 7.2v respectively is used with a regulator to provide power to the receiver, gyro, and servos.

Pre-orders for the baby T-rex is open now in the Align Forum. All pre-orders will come with an extra bonus painted glass canopy for the T-rex 250 and customers who pre-order now will be assured of top priority in the list. The current RRP is slightly over US$200 for the combo with esc and motor, which is a good deal considering that this baby comes with all the blings. There is a catch though. You will need to pre-order through Align Taiwan, which will in turn send the kit to any hobby shop of your choice…IN TAIWAN.
