This year some of you may know that RCHeliResource.com is launching it’s notable pilots awards. The 2009 Notable Pilots Awards is our way of recognizing certain pilots in the industry whose popularity, accomplishments, skills, contributions & talents are extraordinary. This isn’t a contest or a gauge of who is better than who. It’s simply an AWARD OF RECOGNITION saying “Thank you for your contributions to the industry.” As well its a marketing tool for you, your team and your sponsors to gain more marketing exposure free of charge.

The 2009 FAI F3C Heli World Championship is quickly approaching which is being held in Muncie, ID the week prior to IRCHA. I’ve found two sites that cover news on the team’s efforts leading up to the championship.
First is the Hirobo Japan team that have created a very cool blog talking about their preparation efforts on their heli’s and about team members.
The second is the homepage for the US team. They are still looking for donations to help support the team this year, anything you can spare helps!
