Team Rc Heli Resource is officially on site and ready to begin coverage of the 2009 IRCHA Jamboree. Derrick, Sean, Terry, Earl, Jordan, Ben and I arrived in Muncie at 11AM this morning after a red eye flight from the west coast. We were greeted by a fairly large and busy scene at AMA site 4. This is my first year to IRCHA, but from talking to several IRCHA veterans this is the most people they have ever seen on Tuesday. I hope this is prelude to another record breaking registered pilots and spectators for this year’s event.
Today saw several manufactures and dealers setting up their booths and tents getting ready to show off their latest products. I also spotted several pro caliber pilots arriving today as well like Mike Fortin, Danny Szabo, Henry Caldwell, Justin Chi, JC Zankl, and Tim Jones. Justin Chi wasted no time getting to the flight line to enjoy a couple flights with his T-Rex 700N.
