Where do you see the hobby going in the next 5 years: Flybarless systems being perfected! Simplified electronics, more powerful batteries with more duration and cheaper prices. Also I think that the 3D side of the hobby will become more commercial and start to transform into more of an “extreme sport” rather than just a hobby… Time will tell!
