Click through to read the information available thus far on what the Gift Aid is all about.
Good news for UK tax payers at Zone 2012 you may enter using Gift Aid. When you enter the Fleet Air Arm Museum using Gift Aid, you are not buying a “Ticket” instead you are receiving “Annual Membership” and this entitles you to visit the Museum as many times as you wish (Excluding some Special Event Days) for a 12 month period. The Zone event on May 26 /27 has not been designated as a Special Event day and therefore anyone entering on Sat 26th having signed a Gift Aid declaration, will have Annual Membership which will allow them to re- enter on the 27th at no additional cost.
Why Gift Aid?
Help the Fleet Air Arm Museum to preserve Britain’s naval aviation heritage!
What is Gift Aid?
If you are a UK taxpayer you can use Gift Aid to increase the value of your donation by giving authority to the charity to claim back Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in line with your donation, and at no extra cost to you. As a taxpayer you will have paid tax on the income from which you donate. A Gift Aided donation allows the Charity to claim back from the government the tax you paid on that donation.
More details on ticket including prices will be available during April 2012.
