Now showing up on the HeliDirect website is a new offering from the folks over at Outrage RC. A new .50 sized nitro heli muffler designed to fit OS, YS and TT Redline .50 sized engines.
Oddly, though not currently listed on the manufacturer’s own website, the new pipe is beginning to be shown in backorder status on some of their distributors’ websites as they prepare for the release of the new offering from Outrage RC. Priced (at HeliDirect) at $65 USD, it looks to be priced attractively. While the actual performance and sound characteristics of the pipe remain to be seen, the muffler has one reported feature that’s hard to pass up: A 50% crash replacement guarantee! Following suit with other product manufacturers, Outrage RC is apparently offering to sell you a new pipe at half price if you crash your heli and destroy your Outrage muffler.
