MKS DS92 Debut
At first glance the new MKS DS92 looks similar to the DS95, but with a plastic upper and lower case. The DS92 uses a coreless motor from Japan and is detailed for use as a cyclic servo on flybarred helis, but is suitable for use on fixed-wing aircraft.
Here are the pics of the DS92 stripped down to show the internals. It is noted the gearing is similar to the DS95.
The coreless motor used in the DS92 is 10×12 and is noted as being tested continuously for 10 hours a day for two weeks with no failures.
The tests by RC Mania puts the numbers close to the DS95. Although slightly less responsive compared to the DS95, if the price is very reasonable in comparison to the DS95, this micro servo would catch the eyes of many pilots.
