G-Force has released a new 135 degree adapter for the Vibe 50, pics and info inside!
G-Force just let us know about their new 135 degree adapter for the Vibe 50. They also explain their thoughts on the difference between 140/135 degree setups and how this applies to flybarless as well:
The G-Force 135deg CCPM adaptor was developed for a flybarred Vibe 50 for an interaction free and fully symmetrical swashplate setup, where elevator and aileron throws are equal. A simple mix can be programmed in almost all radios that support 120 deg for the G-Force 135 deg adaptor.
With a 120 deg setup, the elevator servo always has greater throws than the aileron servos. This induces interaction when the servos are moved fast during 3D maneuvers. Regardless how fast the servos are, the aileron will also be faster because of the short throws to the swashplate. In a 140 deg setup, the servos still have greater elevator throws than the aileron throws.
Flybarless setups work best where the helicopter is free of interaction and is mechanically neutral before the flybarless system is enabled. Only 90 deg mCCPM or 135 deg eCCPM is the ideal swashplate setup for flybarless.
