It used to be if you wanted your pilot name on your canopy, or maybe some sponsor decals you would have to pay a custom canopy painter several hundred dollars. Well Canomod has recognized this is a common request among pilots for their canopies and are now offering their exclusive service. You now have the flexibility to change the color pallet and pattern as well as add your name and custom logos. The prices are very competitive compared to the custom canopy painters.
The previous post here shows that they have Indeed duplicated the Kasama canopy with their own graphics instead of just photoshop work.
I wouldn’t worry about it Oat. Insane Canopy is still the super high end canopy provider and will always be so.
This just gives more competition for the more affordable options.
Competion is one thing but they have blatently displayed Insane’s cannopy in there advert, it just leaves a nasty taste in the mouth whats wrong putting a canopy they make in the advert!
As you can see from Canomod advertising on the front page of Heli Freak. Canomod is using Insane Canopy pictures and put on their page, took out Insane Canopy logo then put their own Canomod logo on it. So those canopies are not from Canomod but from Insane Canopy. Don’t fall into the trap. Check out from this site.
