Following the positive experience of the Shape 9.0, the 8.00 is essentially a stretched version of the 9.0, known right now as the Shape S8 Prototype. In the desire to have a pure breed 800, there are 5 prototypes being tested and demonstrated at events by our pilots for this season. Being the Shape S8 is a stretched version of the Shape 9.0 with components designed for the 9.0, heavy testing occurred for weeks. The 9.0 mechanical components coped effortlessly with the weight of a 800. But testing continues with variants of the drive design to present a durable system to the customer in the final model.
