Now I can use my lipo batteries in different aircraft models adapting the lipo plug to the engine plug as needed. Moreover I agree with you, the EC3 is more secure (all connectors - male and female - are shielded) and it is really simple to plug and unplug them (not the same could be said for deans connectors). It turns out my soldering iron is crappy (fuckin radioshack) and I can't melt the solder by holding the iron to the rim of the bullet. I had to stick it in and then pop in the cable before the solder cooled. Also, I cut too far down and there was no tinned wire left. Took me 2 hours and 7 bullets. I made one connector on a battery, and it is kind of loose.I still have to do another, hopefully with a new iron. I did this and I became so frustrated.
