How-To Update the JR 11X Firmware via SD card
The JR 11X radio has introduced some interesting features that will benefit RC pilots using this new radio. Among them is the optional SD memory card function. I found that the operating firmware in the transmitter can easily be updated using the SD card. Since there is a new firmware update for the 11X I thought this would be a good opportunity to have one of the service technicians at Horizon Hobby show us how it’s done. Mark McMahan, radio tech, was happy to help out. I have also attached an instruction sheet PDF that you can download or print out when you are ready to do the update. The SD memory card also allows you to upload, download or save an unlimited number of model setups. It is also easy to email and trade setups with other pilots flying the same model. Mark will lead us through the instructions in this video How-To. Take a look, it really is easy and I think you will find it quite interesting.
