Yeah doesnt work for me either. Bit disappointed that there is never a download these days. Sites just go from good to worse these days. Never any consistency! High quality HD heli video's was what made me bother to visit this site.

Firefox v3.5.5
WinXP Pro SP3

Can you guys tell me whats NOT working. Im not really sure what problem you are having. Do the youtube videos on the right side work under “latest videos??” Are you getting a popup? do you see a play button? do you see the “rcheliresource.com beta video player?”

Ugh this is frustrating as a visitor, every new video there is problems with the site, either download links don't show, videos won't show and now it's a combo. Why don't you guys test things before releasing new components to the site? Honestly this is web 2.0, not the 80's, we have many platforms used you need to learn to adapt or else you're creating a poor experience for us visitors. :(

Pop up works, flash is present but the video does not load or play. On all my platforms, from Windows 7, Vista and XP on IE 6,7 and 8, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome. No success on anything. =(

We have tested it but we don't know till its beta tested. As you can see
its called a beta player. Not sure why it doesn't work on any browser you
have. Which version of flash do you have installed???

The latest, tried the most recent 5 versions found on filehippo.com. Yields the same results.

I'd suggest tossing up the old fashion way of displaying the video and work on your player until it works offline before releasing it. Just cuz it's web 2.0 doesn't mean we need “beta” tags on everything, that's played out.

We have done so as much as we can. This seems to be an isolated problem
with some people. We will continue to work it out. We have only released 1
video on this player so there is NO NEED to panic. That why only 1 VIDEO
has been published on this. We havent RELEASED it….its still in beta.
Thank you for your assistance. We will continue to figure out the cause.

Far from a panic mate….lol Though it is a bit frustrating dangling a cake in front of a fat kid so to speak and every video release has been problematic. Additional I will argue with the point you made by it not being released, since you DID release it by publishing it online on an active site… I'm a web developer by profession, this isn't an isolated issue, it's a problem somewhere in the backend all based on poor testing practices.

As I suggested, to avoid frustrating your visitors, revert back to the default, that or supply it as an alternative option as the whole lightbox thing is played out and buggie on plenty of platforms.

Haven't looked into the code but from just playing with it, it appears it isn't querying the video source properly. Could be flash based issue with your players action scripting or alternatively the JavaScript.

I'm receiving different results when I click the video link from the category page to the single page. The category page, I at least get the website logo, on the single page not so much. Additionally on the category page I can see the browsers trying to load in the video but unsuccessfully.

Well I have been a programmer for 20 years and our team knows what they are
doing. As I said this is beta….a single video….not every release as you
said. As I said we appreciate your input. We will handle as we see fit.
If you want you can send further communications to
support@rcheliresource.com and my programming team will handle it. This is
not the appropriate place to debate this issue.

Hi,

I'm running Windows XP Pro on Explorer 8 – my graphics card is an ATI 2850 AGP and my system has 4gb RAM available; the audio on the videos comes through fine but the picture 'skips' frames (for want of a better description). Can you please help with a solution?

Great website, love the way its growing.

Best regards,
Carl

Your computer should be up to snuff to play this. Playing videos like this is not exactly processor heavy. Are you letting the video download partially before playing it?
