Here is what Lucien had to say about Next Level Multi-Rotors.
“Hello Everyone!
This is Lucien Miller from Innov8tive Designs, Inc., and I would like to introduce our newest product line, Next Level Multi-Rotors.
This is an entire new line of Multi-Rotor products that are being designed and manufactured right here at Innov8tive Designs in Southern California. These frames were developed at the request of many customers that had used other products, but were unhappy with the performance, or just wanted a larger, more durable frame. The product line is starting with a series of multi-rotor frames in 500mm and 650mm sizes. The first two frames being offered are 500mm and 650mm Quad-Copters, with Hex versions in these two sizes following in a few weeks. In design right now are larger 800mm and 1000mm frames in both quad and hex configurations, as well as H-4 and H-6 models for all the sizes.
The Next Level Multi-Rotor frames are built using fiberglass reinforced G10 material for the center plates, motor mounts and landing gear legs, with extruded aluminum alloy used for the frame arms. The frames are assembled with threaded aluminum standoffs, stainless steel screws and stainless steel nylon insert locking nuts. This construction results in a rock-solid frame that resists twisting, and stays straight and true, flight after flight. Our test pilots that have flown prototype frames have commented that they fly extremely smooth, and produce excellent results when used as an aerial video or FPV platform.
The design concept used in these frames provides for modular construction with endless upgrade possibilities. All of the parts in the 500mm and 650mm family are interchangable, so you can mix and match parts as needed to construct the frame exactly the way you need it. For example, you can start with a basic 500mm quad frame and fly it for a while. If you want a bigger frame, you can simply purchase a set of 650mm arms and convert the frame to a 650mm quad. When you get tired of flying a quad, you can purchase two motor arms, legs and motor mounts, and get a set of hex center plates and re-configure the frame as a hex, using all of the parts from your original quad frame! Optional payload mounts, camera mounts, motor mounts, shock absorbing landing gear kits and other accessories are also available to build the frame exactly the way you need it. A complete line of spare parts is also available, along with extra standoffs, screws and complete hardware kits to keep your multi-rotor flying.”

Here is what Randy had to say about Next Level Multi-Rotors as well as a few pics of a 500mm prototype.
“We’ve been flying and testing a bunch of configurations of these machines the past few months and we are pretty excited to see this new line of frames coming to the market. There are quite a few choices out there in quad frames in the 500mm size and below, but each has some major drawbacks and none of them are what I considered to be the “Next Level” of multi-rotor machines.
For the past year many customers have called and described the machines they want to meet their goals and the existing products out there have just been under-powered to carry a sufficient payload, too limiting on capabilities and options, or nearly impossible to simply install a camera on. There are some machines out there that come close to solving the problem but they tend to cost more than some new cars. The Next Level Multi-Rotors plug this huge gap in the market and best yet, never become obsolete. So no more throwing everything away and starting over again when you’re ready to move on to the next level. These are great machines that have the durability for beginners but also grow with you as your needs change and your goals evolve.”

Next Level 500mm Quad-Copter Kit
Next Level Multi-Rotor frames are designed to be used in a wide variety of applications, and are built to stand up to the rigors of everyday flying. We use high quality components in our frames, such as CNC cut fiberglass reinforced FR4 board for the Center Body, Motor Mounts and Legs, high-strength extruded aluminum alloy tubes for the Frame Arms, threaded aluminum stand-offs and stainless steel hardware for strength and corrosion resistance. These components work together to create a rugged assembly that will withstand even the most demanding commercial or industrial uses for many years.
To compliment the new Next Level Multi-Rotor frames, a complete line of optional parts are available including shock absorbing landing gear kits, larger motor mounts, camera mounts, battery mounting plates and cover plates. This allows each user to customize their frame to meet their exact needs. The modular design of these frames allows for endless configuration and upgrade possibilities, so they will never become obsolete.
The parts for the 500mm and 650mm frames are all interchangable, allowing your frame to be re-configured as your needs change. For example, you can start with a basic 500mm Quad frame, and add a camera plate for aerial photography or FPV work. Later on, if you want a larger machine, you can simply purchase a set of 650mm arms, and convert your 500mm frame to a 650mm frame. You can even start with a quad frame, and then buy the parts to convert it to a hex configuration later on if desired.
If more power is desired, the stock motor mounts can be replaced with the High Power Motor Mount kit, that will allow you to upgrade your motor size from the standard 22mm motors and use 28mm, 30mm or 35mm motors to power your Next Level frame for additional lifting power and payload capacity. A complete assortment of spare parts are also available to repair the frames in the event of an “unscheduled landing”.
A complete illustrated 28 page assembly manual is included in the kit to guide you through the assembly process. This manual takes you step-by-step through the build process, and also explains some basic theory about quad-copter operation. Common configurations for several different popular flight controllers boards are also listed for quick reference.
The recommended power system for this size frame is a set of four 2212 or 2213 motors with a Kv value in the 900 to 1100 range for sport flying, four matching speed controllers, a set of 9 inch props and a 3-cell Li-Po battery with a capacity of 2200mah or higher.
For FPV work or aerial photography more power is required. For this the recommended power system is a set of four 2215 or 2217 size motors with a Kv value in the 900 to 1100 range, four matching speed controllers, a set of 10 inch props and a 3-cell battery pack with a capacity of 3300mah or higher.
