Heli’s over Delaware Fun-Fly: Date: August 16-18th 2013
The Delaware R/C Club is proud to host the 9th Annual “Helis Over Delaware” helicopter fun fly on Friday August 16, 2013 to Sunday August 18, 2013 at the Delaware R/C Club Flying Site located in the beautiful Lums Pond State Park, Kirkwood, Delaware.
A landing fee of $35 will be charged for pilots. This fee will cover your vehicle State Park entrance fee, and include a ticket in the pilots-only raffle. Event t-shirts will be provided as part of registration to the first 100 pilots. Additional fees will be required for overnight camping. All fees will be collected upon arrival when registration is open. There is no pre-registration. A portion of this year’s event will be donated to the Susan B. Komen foundation.
The Saturday night BBQ dinner provided by the local Boy Scout troop will be held at 5PM. Tickets for the dinner will cost $15 with all proceeds going to the Boy Scouts.
Flying Site is located in Lum’s Pond State Park – R/C Flying Field Entrance – Route 71, Kirkwood Delaware.
From I-95 in Delaware take Exit 1 to RT-896 South, go 6.2 miles to RT-71, make a left. Flying Site is 1/3
mile on left.
