EVENT COVERAGE: TORCHS Orlando 1 Day Mini-Blowout

The Orlando Radio Control Helicopter Society (TORCHS) 1-Day Mini Blowout held last Saturday was a tremendous success. There were lots of friends, food, and flying all day and fun was had by all.

There were 63 registered pilots which is great as this event was setup in a relatively short amount of time. The weather was nice with a little wind that increased throughout the day.

As mentioned in the preview post, there were many prizes courtesy of Ready Heli, Helidirect, V-Blades, and Byron Fuels given away during the pilot raffle.

There were many great pilots in attendance such as Bert Kammerer, Bobby Watts, Craig Martin, Mike Fortin, Bobby Smith, and Pete Campbell.
