Not much to say about this event that hasn’t already been said. 212 registered pilots for a second year event is incredible.
Besides watching awesome heli pilots flying off the hook, for me seeing many old friends and making new ones is what this hobby is all about and just about everyone was at this event. It’s crazy to think of what this event could become and how large a gathering there will be in the future. One thing is for sure, this event was one of the best organized events I have ever been to. My hat’s off to Bert Kammerer and the TORCHS volunteers for making this fun-fly a truly special event. Here are some pictures I snapped on Saturday while roaming around, so be sure to check them out.
