The Orlando Heli Blowout 2012

The Orlando Heli Blowout got off to a great start today! The few clouds that were around in the morning cleared up, and we’ve had beautiful clear skies all day in the high 70′s! There is SO much to see at this event too! I got my first look at both the new Futaba 14SG and the Jeti DC-16. Both look like awesome transmitters! I also got to check out the new Blade 550X “Pro Series”. This new Blade looks killer, and I’ll be getting the skinnie from the Blade guys on Video tomorrow. I also got to check out the new Gaui NX4, an awesome performing heli running the O.S. 37. Some of the most fun has been had with the Heli-Max 1SQ, with everyone flying it through the shelters and between flags, basically having a great old time!

The TORCHS club members have put on a great event, with around 300 pilots in attendance today, and I’m sure there will be more tomorrow!

I’m about to start the photo uploads, and will bring more updates for you tomorrow!
