Thanks to our friends at RC Mania we have the opportunity to see some new products unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Model Show. Here we have products displayed at the JR Propo booth which includes the new XG6 and XG11 transmitters. We really appreciated the sharing Team RC Mania. Well, our friends at RC Mania have shared their coverage with us again. This is the MKS Servo-Tech booth at the 2011 SIM Expo. Displayed at their booth are new products coming out along side their workhorse servo . . . . the DS95.

New Products set to release are the DS1009, DS92, DS62, and a wing servo the DS6125. In addition to these servos, continuing to display, although not available to the public, is the HBL950/980. The HBL950/980, currently being used by MKS Team Pilots, are high voltage versions of the BLS950/980. Click to check out the photos from the RC Mania Team.

The 2011 Shenzhen International Model Expo just completed another successful year at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Our friends at RC Mania were there covering the event. The RC Mania Team continues their coverage of the 2011 Shizuoka Hobby Show with photos from the K & S Company. True to the K & S Company logo, “Innovative RC Designs”, photos were taken of special carbon fiber blades under development for F3C use. These blades weigh in at 220g (see photo 2) and have a large center of gravity as demonstrated by K & S Sales Hui Ishihara (see photo 3). Another innovative product shown is a helicopter stand which allows the pilot to service their heli by “hanging”, so to speak, it on the side by the landing skid (see photos 4-6).

Here is photo coverage at the JR Propo booth during the 2011 Shizuoka Hobby Show. These photos are brought to us by our good friends from RC Mania. A lot of photos were taken of products ranging from DMSS transmitters to Telemetry modules to High Voltage (HV) servos on the electronics side. And, on the heli side RC Mania snapped photos of the E8 Pro, NEX-E6, Syphide E12 (F3C), and the Super Voyager E Complete Kit which looks to include a XG7 transmitter. Also, shown is the E8 FBL and the newly released FBL head.

What could complete the JR Propo booth at this years Shizuoka Hobby Show? How about high quality tools and maintenance products, and accessories to complement JR Propo electronics and helis. Well, the options for helis from Hirobo just got bigger with the planned summer releases. The Hirobo Team announced 4 new helis at the 2011 Shizuoka Hobby Show. First on the block is a yet unnammed and unnumbered electric heli just designated as an EP 450 size helicopter. Next is the Freya Evo D3 SWM SSL R/H, the SDX D3 SWM SL R/H, and last but not least is the SST-Eagle3 SWM AOCC EP. Check out the info released thus far from Hirobo, just click on.

Well everyone here is breaking news from the 2011 Shizuoka Hobby Show. These first two days of the Hobby Show are for Trade Participant viewing. And . . . . our friends at RC Air Tech have snapped some pics of a new flagship transmitter from Futaba. Introducing the new Futaba T18MZ. Yes, you read it right, the T18MZ.

You asked for more channels! You shall receive!
You wished for a cool looking transmitter shell! You got it!
You wanted to be at the forefront of technology! You are!

This transmitter is poised to take over as the flagship transmitter for Futaba. It is an 18-channel, 2.4GHz Computer System, with a large LCD screen. Although the unit shown at the Futaba booth is a display model with no working internals, one’s imagination runs wild with what to do with 18-channels. Or maybe more channels with S.Bus.

Information is limited at this time, but the expected release date is sometime this September. Of course, from now until market release, the final production transmitter may be slightly different than this display model. Check back regularly for the latest information. Nine Eagles also took part at the 2011 Beijing Model Show. RC Mania took some photos of the Nine Eagles booth filled with products from coaxial helis to helis with shaft drives. The RC Mania Team introduces a new custom painted canopy company by the name of Zero Design. There were many canopies on display for popular heli manufacturers such as Align, Outrage RC, Gaui, and Hirobo to name a few. I have to say these canopies look sweet. With many pilots starting to run high voltage systems in their models, battery manufacturers are answering with 60C discharge rate lipos.
