G-Force Heli, the company most known for its custom parts for RC Helicopters has released some new tools for your heli tool box.

The first tool is this neat universal swash plate setup tool called Swash Pro v2 which gives you four different shaft sizes to work with and has adjustable elevator and aileron pads for most any size swash plate.  Looks like it will even work for different degree setups.  Great tool for $66.00.

The second tool we are showing they are releasing is one I have been dying to have, the T-Rex 600/700 clutch hub removal tool.  At $18.00, this will save you alot of time when taking the hub off of the nitro motors.

Well many on your may have seen our previous review of the Jersey Modeler fuel systems.   Here is a very similar system from Byron Originals called the E-Tanker.  The version we received was very large, 5 Liters to be exact, comes with its own funnel, charger and nicad battery (for obvious reasons).  Straightforward design with a great pumping system.  For those of you who are frustrated with electric pumps that either pump too slow or that stop pumping over time….this is a setup you will love.

Hyperion has released the latest version of the very popular EOS 0615i DUO charger. The latest DUO III version adds a built-in USB port and included USB cable. This USB cable will be used to log battery charging data to your PC and later in the year used for bi-directional communication (i.e. firmware updates). More importantly, the new DUO III can charge at up to 15amps vs. 10amps on the older DUO II.  This means with the newer high C charge rate batteries on the market you can now take advantage of shorter charge times.

For several years many heli pilots have been using power drills to start their nitro engines.  Typically they buy a starter shaft and “chuck” in the power drill.  Almost everyone has a power drill laying around the house so this has always been a popular option.

Now G-Force Heli has a recognized the need for a product specifically designed for use in power drills.  Instead of chucking the starter shaft directly into the drill, G-Force has developed an adapter.  This adapter is fully rubber isolated which will eliminate the shock, vibration and wobble from the shaft into the drill.  You then use one of the many commercially available starter shafts with the adapter.

For the past 2 years I’ve used the K&S starter battery mounts with two NiMH 7cell packs on my TorqMaster.  This sufficed for starting my T-Rex 600N, but once I moved up to the T-Rex 700N I quickly found out the NiMH did not have enough juice.  After a quick test with a 4S 3850 lipo I had laying around I knew this is what I needed going forward, but how to mount it?  Enter Heli Daddy and their home brew carbon fiber lipo battery mount kit for the Hobbico TorqMaster 180 starter.
