This week we converted the Trex 700Nitro to an AR 7100 and Voltz 2S LiPo receiver pack sending 8 volts straight to the servos. If we thought they were fun before, they really came alive on 8v…. Well, Team MKS are working hard to get new servos to market for pilots to use. Among the new servos are the DS92, the DS1009, the DS6125E, and the DS65K. One thing to point out . . . . the DS6125E is a wing servo for gliders. Taking a look at the specs the DS6125E has virtually the same as the venerable DS95 with the DS6215E having slightly better torque, and both the 95 and the 6125E the same size. Check out the details thus far released for the DS92, the DS1009, and the DS6125E. Also, included is a sweet vid of the DS92 in action from our friend and 3DX China Winner Bhumipatara, so check the vid out by continuing on.[ click to see videos, photos & rest of story ]

Check out this new micro servo release for 2011. Thanks to our friends at RC Mania, we have some detailed pics of the new DS92 Micro Servo from MKS. This servo is similar to the world renowed DS95. Instead of an all aluminum case, the DS92 uses an upper and lower plastic case with an aluminum middle. Although utilizing part plastic, the specs are similar to the DS95, but should be less expensive than the DS95.
