Aeroclub Vertigo and Manolos Hobbies in Bogota Columbia invited RCHR to come to Columbia and see their event.   This being their 20th annual event they wanted to now move into promoting their event world wide.   RCHR was on hand to help the club accomplish that.

Lynx is following up their line of aftermarket parts for the RC Helicopter industry with some bits. Fuel Tank Plug, Clutch Bearing Block, Aluminum Fan, and Main Bearing Block with cross brace. All great additions to their line of upgrades for Velocity, Hirobo and Align Helicopters.

Well if we were to ever organize a fun-fly it would be just like the 2010 Heli Smackdown “On The Beach!” was in Rimini Italy this past weekend.  Primary sponsor Ely.Q in cooperation with Space-TV had us come out and witness all of the flying first hand.  This event should hand been called the 2010 Heli “Splashdown” because I saw more helis go in the water than I could count on both hands.

Flying during the day….drinking at happy hour and dancing, concerts, dinner and night flying….this was an amazing event.  Here is a gallery of over 500 photos but the video I am working on is just amazing.  Team Outrage was on hand debuting their new Velocity 90 as well as Mikado Mr. Gabutti had a 600 SE in the air.

Palomar R/C Flyer’s is home to the annual San Diego Heli Fun Fly. With sunny weather and beautiful surroundings, it made for a great event.  With some of the top pilots in the country the noon time demos had some of the best flying I’ve seen in a long time, also on Saturday they raffled a Ray Nemovi ready to fly Trex 700 E conversion.  It was also the first time anyone in the US had a chance to lay eyes on the new Kasama Srimok E.  This event is one you definitely don’t want to miss next year.  If you weren’t able to make it this year, here are some photos of the event.

At this years annual San Diego Fun Fly the new Kasama Srimok E was on display.  This is the first time anyone in the US has been able to see this new heli up close and personal.  With the surge of big electric heli’s on the scene, this one is sure to be a hit.  Kasama is well known for its precision machining and attention to detail.  I’m sure it wont be long before you start to see them at your local field.  From the look of things they are getting very close to hitting the shelves.
