I know its 2:24 am but we just left the club here in San Diego after having a Tim Jones/Ray Nemovi fun-fly here in Palomar, California.  Our co-executive editor, Bryan Regular was in town from Calgary, AB, and we were testing out a few new top secret components that will be released  to the public in the next 60-90 days.  Some are from Mr. Tim Jones himself….and some others from a few other companies that we got to beta test today.  Here is a small gallery of the some of flying that went down and the crew that attended from all over Southern California.  

We are so lucky to be able to fly year round.  Most of the big names are getting warmed up for the Align contest in March.

Thanks to everyone at Palomar RC Flyers Club for letting us use your field exclusively today.  We know the plankers didn’t really like it but everyone seemed to honor our presence.

I just know that some of you are also flying the 4#3B around your living room, too (so do I). One of the biggest gripes with this bird was the brushed motor - sometimes, it did not last for even 10 flights. Now, Walkera has two upgrade accessories mentioned on the 4#3B page: a BL controller and a BL motor. Let’s see when this hits the stores…

Cruzing through gallery’s I stumbled upon Benny Chis gallery, and noted that he has a bunch of pictures of the Aeolus 50. Thought I would post them up for those of you who are interested. And if you may remember a few months back the video that was posted here. As you may notice it has alot of similarities to the Trex 600N.

Canomod has designed a set of V2 canopies for the T-Rex 700. They look pretty sweet. Priced well too $130. Expect to see them soon at your favored Canomod Dealers. 

Compass model is relatively new to the helicopter scene. Their first projects started with the Knight Sport and the Knight Pro (discontinued). Their lineup has now expanded to the Knight 3d 50, Atom 500, and the Odin 90, which have proved to be great flying helis. I have owned the Knight 3d now for 4 months, and thought it would be a good idea to write a review.

They keep the hits coming with the new colored framesets for the Align T-Rex 700.  Looks like silver is in again along with a few more.  The black one looks like tis fiberglass.  The prices are incredible.
