Well, the options for helis from Hirobo just got bigger with the planned summer releases. The Hirobo Team announced 4 new helis at the 2011 Shizuoka Hobby Show. First on the block is a yet unnammed and unnumbered electric heli just designated as an EP 450 size helicopter. Next is the Freya Evo D3 SWM SSL R/H, the SDX D3 SWM SL R/H, and last but not least is the SST-Eagle3 SWM AOCC EP. Check out the info released thus far from Hirobo, just click on.

Last month JR Propo released information and pics of the FBL rotor head in development for the Vibe 50NEX. Well, with the debut of the Vibe 50NEX FBL Assembly Kit, looks like the development is complete. Along with the new FBL rotor head comes a couple of features updated from the Flybarred version released earlier this year. Regardless if it’s the FBL or Flybarred version this heli is sweet looking. Following on the unveiling of products at the Nurnberg Toy Fair, Hirobo announced the release of the FBL rotor heads for 90 class and 50 class helis. These rotor heads are all metal and annodized in blue. Thanks to Dominick Haegele for the pics of these rotor heads mounted on his helis. Here are a couple of amazing flight videos of our friend Tareq “King of 3D” Alsaadi at the Outrage Blowout 2011. Each flight Tareq never disappoints. Our friends at RC Mania recently shared information of the new 90 size heli engines from OS Engines. There are two versions . . . . 3C and 3D. Both engines are virtually the same by specifications. Our friend Chance with RC Mania recently posted a swashplate mod for the Outrage Velocity 90 he just built. Chance said when he tightened the screws attaching the two halves of the swashplate, the spherical bearing did not move freely. When he loosened the screws to allow the spherical bearing to move freely, the screws were too loose. What did he do to solve this challenge?
