We finally got a chance to see a production kit partially assembled in Italy at the 2010 Heli Smackdown “ON THE BEACH.” Can’t wait to get one of these for review. Looks like the 90 wars are heating up now. Looks like this XFC and IRCHA will have plenty of new additions to the 700 sized helis in the air.
The 700 sized electric wars are heating up. Mikado has not released their 690 blade sized capable helicopter. I have not seen one at any events but we can only hope it will hit the store soon. Some shops have already added them to their inventory systems.
Pricing looks like $699 for the airframe per ReadyHeli’s website. Other combos are listed on their site and the Mikado website as well.
Castle Creations has announced a new Service Advisory for a couple of ESCs. Under certain circumstances, such as under heavy vibration or sharp G loading, the control boards on Castle Phoenix Ice 200 and Castle Phoenix Ice HV 160 controllers may become separated from the power board.
