Mid America R/C Heli Fun Fly 2010 has been scheduled for June 25th through the 27th of 2010. Last year we had a blast and there was plenty of action with some of the world’s premiere helis pilots attending. For 2010 we will do it BIGGER and BETTER!!!!!!!

Heliproz has finally settled into their new impressive facility located outside Billings, MT.  As promised, 2010 will be there 1st Annual Fun Fly event held at the new location which features a very large flying field on-site.  The best part is not only is the Fun Fly free to attend and fly, but HeliProz will be having a huge in store sale which is sure to have some awesome deals.  If you are not familiar with HeliProz’s new location, click here to tour the facility online.

Yes, the season is starting and we all need to start planning for the biggest event of the year, IRCHA 2010.  Of course we will be there bringing you all of the fun in video and photos.  Event will be held at AMA HQ site 4 as usual and the dates are Aug 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15.  This year we will be stepping up our game over last year with some special things to be announced as the date becomes closer…so stay tunnneeddd.

Last year’s LA 3D was an exceptional event, with a great turn out and some big name pilots as well. The organizers plan to make it no different this year, expecting attendance higher than last years event. Rotor FX will also be in attendance, with a full scale Schweizer landing as well as a Mosquito on display.  The RCHR team will be out in full force shooting HD video and pictures, but this is definitely an event you will not want to miss.

Well I am pleased to finally announce the 2009 Heli-Invasion!!

On October 2 – 4, 2009, the Heli-Invasion will once again take place at Robbie Campbell Memorial Airfield, just outside of Fredericksburg, VA. Which is conveniently located an hour from Washington, DC and Richmond, VA.

This is the premiere competition to showcase the talent of up and coming heli pilots.   IRCHA Amateurs National competition is designed to give pilots that are talented and have worked hard at refining their skill a chance to showcase just how far they’ve come. This is the one heli event you can not miss each year.  The last couple years have seen record attendance, with 780+ registered pilots.  That makes the IRCHA Jamboree the largest fun fly event in the world!  The 2009 Jamboree promises to be even larger and more special with the 2009 F3C World Championships being held the same week.  This means the world’s top FAI pilots will be in town and many will be attending the Jamboree as well.

Time to mark your calendars for the 23rd Annual Southern Rotary Classic.  This is a long standing event that has attracted some of the best pilots in the country.  This year so far the following pro pilots have confirmed their attendance: Curtis Youngblood, Bobby Watts, Nick Maxwell, Jamie Robertson, Tim Jones, and Bert Kammerer.   There will more pilots announced once the event gets closer.
