Attention pilots using an Align 60G, 70G, 75G, or 100G Brushless ESC! Do you want to keep your ESC as cool as possible? For a few bucks, the Align Brushless ESC Cooler Plate can help achieve that. Read on for more info about this product.

Step 1: Cut open the existing heat shrink tubing. If there are heatsinks on both sides of the ESC, first remove the heatsink on the flat heat dissipation plate, then remove the dust insulators on both sides of the ESC
Step 2: Heat transfer compound at the back side of the cooler plate already
Step 3: Using a hobby knife as shown in the photo, spread the thermal grease evenly on the back of the heatsink
Step 4: Attach the heatsink to the flat heat dissipation plate
Step 5: To avoid short circuit of the ESC, care must be taken to position the heatsink exactly as shown in the diagram
Step 6: Slide the included heat shrink tube on to both sides
Step 7: Apply heat using heat gun or lighter to shrink the heat shrink tubing

Hmmm, interesting. Shouldn’t they have just made this part of the ESC design from the start?
