We just received some information from our friends at Esprit Model about the Jeti SBEC 40, check it out below!
The SBEC 40 from Jeti is a switching BEC designed to operate with included magnetic key. The advantage of an electronic switch is that it offers a virtually unlimited ON/OFF cycles, unlike mechanically operated switches.

The multirotor hobby is booming. With more companies producing electronics and airframes specifically for this niche of the hobby, it is becoming more common to see multi’s at your local flying field. These platforms are hugely popular with first person view style flying (FPV), as well as aerial video and photography. While there is great satisfaction in scratch building your own multicopter, a few companies are now starting to provide quadcopter ARF’s that requires very little assembly by the end user. I’ve got another published review to share with you, this time it’s the Axe 100 CP from Heli-Max!
Introduction:
The Axe 100CP from Heli-Max is a micro sized, fully aerobatic helicopter. Using micro servos, “TAGS” flybarless technology, and an efficient layout, it can handle even the most complicated of 3D maneuvers. It is available as a ready to fly package, with an included transmitter, or as a TxR (transmitter ready) version. For this review I’ll be looking at the TxR version, using the AnyLink adapater with my Futaba 8FGS.

This is pretty cool! Rail Blades have announced the soon to be released Rail 136mm blades for the Blade 130X! These miniature rail blades feature the same flybarless design as the larger Rail Blades, and are made out of super stiff high quality carbon fiber. The 136′s also feature the same weighted “bullet” design as the stock blades, and also weigh the same as the stock blades.
