Age? 36
Where you are from? Originally from Pensacola, Florida and currently live in Orlando, Florida.
Your interest’s/hobbies? I am an avid aviation enthusiast with major interests in naval aviation. I enjoy flying R/C airplanes and primarily R/C helicopters. I enjoy photography and try and capture anything I can aviation related.
Industry Experience? I started in the hobby with R/C airplanes back in 1987 for a few years. I traded my R/C airplanes for a motocross bike and started racing in 1990. A few broken bones later, I moved to Orlando to finished college and in 2000 was reintroduced to R/C airplanes. I started with R/C helicopters in 2005. I was a Field Rep for Miniature Aircraft during 2006 and 2007 and have been a Field Rep for V-Blades since 2007.
Work experience? Since graduating college in 1999, I have been working with Hubbard Construction Company in Orlando. I am currently a Project Engineer working on two projects at the Orlando International Airport. My girlfriend and I work for the Orlando Magic operating an R/C blimp during the Magic’s home games throughout the NBA season.
Education? University of Central Florida – Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
How long you have been with RCHeliResource? I have been a contributing editor since March of 2009.
You role/position with RCHeliResource? I am currently a Contributing Photo Editor for RCHeliResource and whether at a funfly or just at my local field, I always have my camera ready to capture and document any interesting aspects of the R/C helicopter scene to bring to RCHeliResource viewers.
Why you work for RCHeliResource? I have traveled to funflys for the past three years taking pictures and shooting video of the events and my friends for my own enjoyment. Being able to do that as a part of RCHeliResource means my pictures get much more exposure than ever before. It is also a great feeling to be a part of a website devoted to reporting newsworthy content regarding the r/c heli scene. I truly feel that RCHeliresource is just that….a resource in the hobby.
