3DMasters Jeff Barringer issues Press Release in regards to so called “Media Fee”

We were informed that 3DMasters posted a statement in regards to the media fee that seems to now be called a SPONSORSHIP FEE was only imposed on RCHeliResource.Com. Here is the statement posted on 3DMasters website.

This statement was issued in response to an email exchange between RCHR and 3DMasters and an email send out to all advertisers and sponsors in the industry.  As you can see its no rant.  (sponsor names were redacted)

This was a simple request.  Like we said we are not profiting from anything.  2 advertisers and sponsors of his event were paying our expenses to GOTO the event so that they could get their the most out of their marketing dollars from sponsoring the event.  That’s plain and simple.  They were paying our air fare and hotel in exchange for me coming and shooting the event and proving media coverage of their products as well as every other product and pilot at the event.  Without sponsor funding…we cannot afford to travel the world and do these events on $100/$200 a month advertising fees.

We then issued this letter to our sponsors.

We received many emails in support of our position as well many public comments on my personal Facebook page and RCHR Facebook page.

We are not trying to bully anyone and its fine if they want to stand their ground.  That is their right to do so but RCHR wont be covering, supporting or sponsoring 3DMasters if they are charged a fee for doing so.
