Spektrum just released info for the new DX7s and here it is being introduced on this weeks show of HorizonHobby.com On the Horizon for 5-5-11. Following on the heels of the introduction of a new Walkera transmitter at the Nuremburg Toy Fair in February, our friends at Xheli got their hands on a pre-production unit of the Devention Devo 12. The Devo 12 is a state of the art 12 channel, LCD touch screen, backlit transmitter sporting a futuristic silver shell similar to the JR 11X.

Tony from Xheli takes us through some of the features of this cool Walkera transmitter and points out some pros and cons for this transmitter. The RC Mania Team introduces a new custom painted canopy company by the name of Zero Design. There were many canopies on display for popular heli manufacturers such as Align, Outrage RC, Gaui, and Hirobo to name a few. I have to say these canopies look sweet. These are some ambitious guys. Arnaud Taffanel, Tobias Antonsson, and Marcus Eliasson from Daedalus Projects have built another quadrocopter prototype. This one is really tiny that it fits in the palm of your hand. As reported on Engadget, the CrazyFlie is controlled by a Bluetooth Playstation controller. With many pilots starting to run high voltage systems in their models, battery manufacturers are answering with 60C discharge rate lipos.
