Well its not acutally as small as a 450…the rotor diameter is 900mm compared to the 700mm 450 class or the 970mm 500 class….so we could call it a 475 class. Whatever it is…this is really cool of Walkera to shoehorn an nitro system into something so small. I saw .30 size motors in a 500 but this is amazing. At $549.95 ready-to-fly this thing is a bargain.

Not much in the way of helis at this years AMA show, as it was last year, there was a heavy bias towards planes. With that being said, there were still a few manufactures in our sector of the industry that made their way out to Ontario, California this weekend. Attendance was also noticeably higher this year compared to last year overall. Ray Nemovi, Kyle Dahl, Tim Jones, Nick Maxwell and Ben Storick also made appearances along with a few demo flights midday. Read on for the rest of the photos.
