We have just received notification from Curtis Youngblood Enterprises they have elected to discontinue the Solid G gyro. This is not due to any issue or defect in the Solid G but instead because the Mini-G popularity has shown to be much higher then expected. Originally CYE designed the Mini-G for 50 nitro size helis […]

It used to be if you wanted your pilot name on your canopy, or maybe some sponsor decals you would have to pay a custom canopy painter several hundred dollars. Well Canomod has recognized this is a common request among pilots for their canopies and are now offering their exclusive service. You now have the […]
Skookum Robotics in Vancouver, BC Canada has enjoyed tremendous success with their first product, the SK360 2-axis digital flybarless unit. Now Skookum is gearing up to release their second product, the SK720 3-axis unit. Believe it or not the SK720 unit is actually smaller then the original SK360. This is not due to a lack […]
Canomod just sent us some shots of their latest custom canopy for the Kasama SRIMOK 90.
Not to toot our own horn, but we are simply overwhelmed and flattered by the amount of traffic this past week. We have not only broken but absolutely crushed every single record regarding site traffic the past 7 days. This includes daily site visitors, page views, video plays, picture views, you name it! Our pre-IRCHA […]
Finally all the work and build up has brought us to the final and most important day of the week, Saturday. This is the day when the big name pilots put on the craziest noon demos. When every hour there is a designated manufacture “power hour” going on at center flight station. It also happened […]
During the month of July we held the first annual Visitor’s Choice Awards. The awards covered 16 different categories and received 617 total votes cast. We would like to thank everyone who participated, and hope you join us again next year.
Look inside to see if your favorite manufacture won their respective category!
UPDATE: I spoke with Mr. Kasama and these drawings are genuine, he is working on a SRIMOK 90E. He said they are almost finished designing and should have a prototype in a month or so. This past weekend a couple partial CAD drawings popped up on the internet showing what looks like almost certainly a […]
A new electronic stabilization system is now available from RC Aerodyne!
Removing the ElyQ line, ReadyHeli has now decided to carry the Kasama Srimok 90 and and 90 flybarless. We were out showing off our review birds at IRCHA and they were test flown by two (to remain nameless) competing factory pilots with very very positive feedback. Our test pilot video will be posted tonite with […]
Like we said, there were going to be many things we do at IRCHA this year that people would just love us for and the few choreographed scenes we did really paid off. Check out these two ROCK stars in their element.
Everyone is going crazy over this video. This is what they are saying:
I watched them film this video. Sat right behind them. I have to give Mad Props to the camera men. They were having to move so fast to keep up with these two rock stars flying. They looked acrobatic themselves. Also Mad Props to Lukas and Alan. This is definatly a must see video. So glad I got the chance to see it in person. The control they have is definatly out of sight. They took those helis and put them within about 1 foot of the camera. IRCHA ROCKED And thanks to RcHeliResource Super Friendly Guys.
There was lots of talk and speculation about how will the attendance be at the 2009 IRCHA Jamboree due to this economy. Well the answer is pretty clear, the recession didn’t effect IRCHA one bit. Last year was 781 registered pilots, so this year was not just a couple more but almost 200 more then […]
A-Main Hobbies brought along a prototype of the new JS Model Frenzy 90 with them to IRCHA. Ben Storick was here flying it all weekend and it looked very impressive in the air. What’s even more impressive is the estimated street price, $400!
We stopped by the Futaba booth to get a couple close up shots of the new 8-channel 2.4Ghz FASST radio, the T8FG.
