The Synergy N5 lives!  I can’t wait to see it with a canopy.  I hate shooting videos without a canopy.  Since there is no canopy yet for this helicopter I will have to make due.  This is a nice video of Matt Botos flying the Synergy N5 at the 2009 Huntsville Fun-Fly.

This starter is brand new from Align, it’s not quite ready yet but it will soon. It’s capable of starting a 90 sized engine all the way up to a 50CC gas engine. The motor is geared down so it has much more torque than the usual direct drive systems most other starters have.

I have never been able to get an entire flight of Curtis Flying anything except a 90. I was determined to try it this time so I asked him to give me a little slack. I kept up with him pretty good but it was alot of work keeping up with this legend.

Stayed up all night and cranked it out…6 hours of sweat and fingerprints on my keyboard.  Trying to be a little more diverse in our coverage.  More videos coming tomorrow (may last day off) so stay tuned.

Sometimes you see him and sometimes you don’t.  Every time I see this guy fly I wonder why doesn’t he fly in more competitions because his execution is so unique.  There seems to be a trend going more “smackdown” but Jason’s flights are exciting even without that style of flight.  Judge for yourself.

Lower attendance seems to be a trend this year at events, however the people down in San Diego still put on an amazing show. There was no wait at the flight line so you could go up whenever you wanted. Many pros made their way to this event, including Curtis Youngblood, Nick Maxwell, Ben Storick, Jason Krause, Ray Nemovy, Erick Stolz, Jason Bell, Brandom Updike, and Tim Jones who put on an amazing show. I spent the whole day taking pictures, infact 700 or so, so there will be two galleries for you all to enjoy-
