Ever since the T-Rex 450se V2 has been released from Align, people have been having issues with the stock dampeners. The problem is, the spindle has been beefed up (from 3mm to 4mm), however, the center hub diameter remains the same. This means that with the dampeners on, there is less material between the spindle and the center hub, so you get a loose, teetering head. Read on to find the solution to this problem…

JR has released a new servo meant for use on the tail of 450 sized helis. To get that locked in feel, most people have resorted to using mini sized servos, like the 9650. With this new servo, those mini servos that make 450’s tail heavy will have some competition!

Metal tail grips upgrade for the T-rex500 is now available from Align. Comes in black or silver. Personally, I think the silver looks better.

Just released this week is Eflites new Mini CX. It comes in 2 versions, a Bind and Fly, or a RTR version. The RTR version contains a PC Game pad/Playstation type controller. It has trim tabs, and surprisgnly, a Dual Rate option, but not on a conventional switch. In order to switch beteween Dual Rates you actually press in the right stick, and the LED on the transmitter will blink to signify the change, and when switched back, it will go back to a solid red. Pretty nifty.
